What type of device is this product?

It is a compact electronic RFID tag designed in a key-fob format for identification and data exchange within compatible industrial RFID systems.

What RFID frequency does the tag use?

The tag operates at 13.56 MHz.

Which RFID standard does it follow?

XGHBPB3345 conforms to the ISO 15693 standard, making it suitable for use with compatible high-frequency RFID equipment.

Can information be written to the tag?

Yes. Its EEPROM memory permits both reading and writing, allowing identification or application data to be updated when required.

What is the tag's memory capacity?

The current product specification states a memory capacity of 112 bytes.

How many write cycles can the memory withstand?

The EEPROM is rated for 100,000 write cycles when used within the specified temperature range of -25°C to 80°C.

Are read cycles limited?

No. The specified number of read cycles is unlimited under normal operating conditions.

How long can stored data be retained?

The stated data-retention period is 10 years.

What is the typical sensing distance?

The nominal sensing distance depends on the associated smart antenna. It is approximately 30 mm with an XGCS49 and approximately 35 mm with an XGCS85 or XGCS89.

Which smart antennas are compatible with the tag?

The documented associated smart antennas are the XGCS49, XGCS85 and XGCS89 models.

Is the tag protected against dust and water?
