What type of electrical device is this?

It is a Multi 9 C60N miniature circuit breaker designed to protect distribution circuits against overloads and short circuits.

How many poles does this circuit breaker have?

The device has two protected poles, allowing it to disconnect and protect two conductors simultaneously.

What is the rated current?

The M9F11203 has a rated current of 3 A at an ambient reference temperature of 50 °C, in accordance with EN/IEC 60947-2.

What does the C tripping curve mean?

The C curve provides a balance between overload protection and tolerance of moderate inrush currents. It is commonly used for distribution circuits and equipment with modest starting-current demands.

Can this circuit breaker be used with both AC and DC networks?

Yes. It is specified for AC networks at 50/60 Hz and for DC applications up to 125 V DC, subject to the stated breaking-capacity limits and installation requirements.

What is its breaking capacity at 415 V AC?

Its ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity is 10 kA at 415 V AC between phases. The rated service breaking capacity at this voltage is 7.5 kA.

What other operating voltages are specified?

The listed operating voltages are 240 V, 415 V and 440 V AC between phases, plus DC operation at up to 125 V.

How is the device mounted?

It uses a clip-on installation method for standard DIN-rail mounting. Its 36 mm width occupies four 9 mm pitches.

What are the product dimensions?

The circuit breaker measures approximately 81 mm high, 36 mm wide and 72 mm deep, with a net weight of around 0.24 kg.

What conductor sizes can be connected?

The tunnel terminals accept rigid, flexible and ferruled flexible conductors from 1 to 25 mm². The specified stripping length is 14 mm, and the terminal tightening torque is 2 N·m.

Does the device provide visible contact indication?

Yes. It includes an ON/OFF indication and a contact-position indicator, helping users confirm the switching state locally.

Can the operating handle be padlocked?

Yes. The toggle mechanism is designed to be padlockable where controlled isolation procedures require the operating position to be secured.

What are the operating temperature limits?

The specified ambient operating range is -30 °C to 70 °C. The storage temperature range is -40 °C to 80 °C.

What ingress protection rating does it have?

The device is rated IP20 on its own. When installed within a suitable modular enclosure, the stated protection level is IP40.

What mechanical and electrical endurance is specified?

The circuit breaker is rated for 20,000 mechanical operating cycles and 10,000 electrical operating cycles under the specified conditions.

Does it include residual-current protection?

No. Residual-current or earth-leakage protection requires a separate compatible block; the circuit breaker itself provides thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection.

Which electrical standard does it conform to?

The M9F11203 conforms to EN/IEC 60947-2 for low-voltage circuit breakers and is classified for Category A utilisation.

What are the insulation and impulse withstand ratings?

The rated insulation voltage is 500 V AC, while the rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV.
