This is a multi-level DIN rail terminal block intended for organised conductor termination in control panels and industrial enclosures. It provides a compact way to route and distribute a single potential while saving rail space.
The unit has 3 levels and 2 connections, with 1 potential. This layout helps create a high wiring density without increasing the width on the DIN rail.
It uses a screw connection on both connection points. The design is suited to applications where a secure, conventional clamping method is preferred.
It accepts solid and flexible conductors from 0.14 mm² to 6 mm², which is approximately AWG 26 to 10. Flexible conductors with ferrules can be used up to 4 mm².
Yes. Two conductors of the same cross section can be connected, subject to the stated limits. For solid or stranded conductors, the range is 0.14 mm² to 1.5 mm², and for TWIN ferrules with plastic sleeve the range is 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm².
The nominal rating is 500 V and 32 A. The maximum load current is listed as 41 A when used with a 6 mm² conductor. In some approval-related contexts, lower values may apply, so the installation standard and approval route should always be checked.
The terminal block is 6.2 mm wide, 60.1 mm high and 92.7 mm long. Its slim width makes it suitable for installations where panel space is limited.
It is designed for mounting on NS 35/7.5 and NS 35/15 DIN rail profiles. That makes it suitable for common 35 mm rail arrangements used in industrial panels.
The specified stripping length is 9 mm. The screw thread is M3, and the recommended tightening torque is 0.6 to 0.8 Nm. Following these values helps achieve the intended electrical and mechanical performance.
The housing colour is grey. Phoenix Contact 3214363 is also made from PA insulating material with a UL 94 V0 flammability rating.
Yes. Its three-level design allows more wiring points within a narrow 6.2 mm width, which is useful when panel builders want to maximise connection density on standard DIN rail.
Yes. It is compatible with a range of plug-in bridges for 6.2 mm pitch systems, including multi-position bridging options. This can simplify common potential distribution across adjacent terminals.
Yes. The terminal supports both flat and tall marker systems, including strip markers and sheet markers. This gives flexibility for numbering, circuit identification and custom labelling in panel layouts.
Yes. A compatible 4 mm test adapter is listed for use with terminal blocks in this pitch range, which can be useful where test access is required during assembly or commissioning.
The terminal block is designed in accordance with IEC 60947-7-1 and is listed with approvals including UL, cUL, CSA and cULus recognition, with additional Ex-related approvals referenced in the product data. This can be helpful when matching panel components to project requirements.
The operating ambient temperature range is -60 °C to 85 °C. Assembly and actuation temperatures are stated separately, so those conditions should also be considered during installation.
