The Sick WT12-2P410 is a state-of-the-art photoelectric proximity sensor designed for precision and reliability in a wide range of industrial applications. This sensor features a robust block design measuring 15 mm x 49 mm x 41.5 mm, making it suitable for tight installation spaces while offering a maximum sensing range of 20 mm to 250 mm. It utilises infrared light as its detection method, ensuring high accuracy in object detection. Equipped with background suppression technology, the WT12-2P410 excels in environments where the background conditions are variable, as it can distinguish between the target object and the background with great efficiency. The sensor's optics are made from high-quality PMMA plastic, providing durability and consistent performance. The WT12-2P410 operates on a supply voltage of 10 V DC to 30 V DC and has a low current consumption of 40 mA, making it an energy-efficient choice for continuous operation. It also features a PNP switching output, which can be configured for light or dark operation, and a fast response time of ≤ 330 µs, allowing for quick and responsive automation processes. For ease of integration, the sensor comes with an M12, 4-pin connector, simplifying the installation process.
