This is a pneumatic booster relay designed to increase air volume in control applications. The Siemens 61H F/R is commonly associated with valve positioner and actuator circuits where faster pneumatic response is required.
A booster relay amplifies the air flow available to an actuator while following the input signal. It is typically used to improve actuator stroking speed and overall dynamic response in pneumatic valve control loops.
