The Hirschmann RS2-TX is a robust and reliable Ethernet switch from the RS2 series. This unmanaged industrial Ethernet rail switch operates in store and forward switching mode, supporting both Ethernet (10 Mbit/s) and Fast-Ethernet (100 Mbit/s). It features 8 ports, each supporting 10/100Base-TX, TP cable, RJ45 sockets, auto-crossing, auto-negotiation, and auto-polarity. The RS2-TX is equipped with a 5-pin plug-in terminal block and operates within a temperature range of 0 to +60 °C. With a maximum power consumption of 7.0 W at 24 V DC, it offers efficient operation. The switch also includes LED indicators for power, link status, data, and error, along with a signal contact / fault relay for 24 V DC / 1 A. The RS2-TX is designed for DIN Rail 35 mm mounting and offers an IP20 protection class. This makes it an ideal choice for industrial applications requiring reliable and efficient network connectivity.
