Schneider BMXDRC0805 is a Modicon X80 relay discrete output module designed for industrial automation systems using the M340 platform. It provides 8 isolated NO/NC relay outputs and accommodates a broad output range of 24 to 240 V AC and 24 to 125 V DC, making it suitable for switching a variety of field devices and pre-actuators. The module connects via a 40-way terminal block and offers positive or negative output logic. With response times of up to 10 ms for activation and up to 13 ms for deactivation, it is well suited to reliable control of discrete loads in machine and process applications. The BMXDRC0805 also features channel diagnostic indicators, RUN, ERR and I/O status LEDs, helping operators quickly assess module and output status. Built for demanding control environments, this Schneider discrete output module has IP20 protection, 1780 V AC dielectric strength, 3 gn vibration resistance and 30 gn shock resistance. External short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection should be provided as part of the installation, with fast-blow fusing recommended per relay or channel group.
