Omron E2E2-X10D1 is a long-barrel inductive proximity sensor designed for reliable non-contact detection of ferrous metal targets in industrial automation applications. This M30 shielded DC 2-wire model offers a 10 mm sensing distance and normally open operation, making it well suited to position detection, machine sensing, and general presence monitoring where stable switching and straightforward installation are important.

What type of sensor is this?

This model is a long-barrel inductive proximity sensor designed to detect metal targets without physical contact. The E2E2-X10D1 is a DC 2-wire, shielded, normally open sensor with an M30 threaded body.

What is the sensing distance?

The rated sensing distance is 10 mm, with a tolerance of plus or minus 10%. The recommended set distance is 0 to 8 mm.

Is it a shielded or unshielded design?
