The Murr Elektronik 85442 is an Emparro single-phase industrial power supply designed to convert a wide input range of 90–265 V AC or 90–250 V DC into a stable 24–28 V DC output. With a 20 A output current and adjustable DC output voltage, it is suited for control cabinets, automation systems, machine panels, and distributed industrial power applications. This DIN rail mount power supply features Push-In spring clamp terminals for efficient installation, SELV output, and protection against overload and short circuit conditions. It supports parallel connection of up to five devices and series connection of up to two devices, making it adaptable for higher current or voltage configurations where required. The unit also provides 150% Power Boost for at least 4 seconds, helping handle temporary load peaks. The 85442 offers high efficiency of up to 94.1% at 230 V AC, a minimum mains failure bridging time of 30 ms at 100 V AC, and an IP20 enclosure rating. Built for demanding industrial environments, it operates from -40°C to 60°C, with derating from 45°C, and mounts on a TH35 rail in accordance with EN 60715. Its compact 85 mm width, 123 mm height, and 138 mm depth make it a practical choice for space-conscious panel designs.
