The KB Electronics KBCC-240D is a chassis DC drive designed for controlling DC motor speed in industrial and OEM applications. Built as the printed circuit board version of the KBPC-240D mounted on a 7-inch heat sink, this drive provides a compact open-chassis format for integration into control panels, machinery, and custom enclosures. This model is suitable for applications requiring dependable DC motor control, including sub-fractional horsepower motors and gear motors when configured with the appropriate plug-in horsepower resistor. The KBCC-240D includes motor burnout protection and three diagnostic indicator LEDs, helping operators monitor drive status during operation. Its current limit settings can be adjusted using jumper selections and trimpot settings, allowing the drive to be matched to specific motor requirements.
