Omron CP1L-M40DR-D is a compact CP1L-series PLC CPU Unit designed for flexible machine control with a 24 V DC power supply and a built-in 40-point I/O configuration. It provides 24 digital inputs (24 V DC, PNP/NPN compatible) and 16 relay outputs rated up to 2 A, making it well suited to switching a broad range of field devices while maintaining electrical isolation at the outputs. With a 10K-step program capacity and 32K words of data memory, the CP1L-M40DR-D supports practical, mid-sized control applications requiring reliable logic handling and fast response; basic instruction execution is as low as 0.55 μs. A built-in USB port is provided for direct connection to a PC, and additional communications can be added via optional boards (including serial and Ethernet options). The unit also supports expansion with up to three CP1W expansion units for scaling I/O (up to 160 local I/O points), and includes high-speed counter capability with up to four encoder input channels (up to 100 kHz) for counting and measurement tasks.
