This is a digital input module for the B&R 2010 control platform. It provides 32 inputs for receiving 24 V DC signals from industrial field devices.
The module provides 32 digital inputs, arranged as eight groups of four inputs.
The nominal input voltage is 24 V DC, with a maximum permitted input voltage of 30 V DC.
Yes. The DI426 supports both sink and source input wiring, allowing it to accommodate different field-device configurations.
Yes. The eight input groups are electrically isolated from one another by optocouplers. The inputs are also isolated from the PCC electronics, although individual inputs within the same group are not isolated from each other.
The typical switching delay is 1 ms, with a stated maximum of 1.2 ms.
An input below 5 V is recognised as LOW, while an input above 15 V is recognised as HIGH. The switching range lies between 5 V and 15 V.
At the nominal input voltage of 24 V DC, each active input draws approximately 6 mA.
The specified input resistance is 4 kΩ.
Yes. There are status LEDs for inputs 1 to 32. Each corresponding LED illuminates when current flows through the input optocoupler and the input is interpreted as logic 1.
Yes. A dedicated indicator shows when the terminal block is missing or not correctly connected to the module.
The specified terminal block is the TB140. It must be ordered separately from the DI426 module.
The module is designed for use with the B&R BP200, BP201 and BP210 base plate modules.
The module measures 285 mm high, 40 mm wide and 185 mm deep.
The maximum stated power consumption is 4 W.
Each group of four inputs has its own COM terminal. For example, inputs 1 to 4 use one common terminal, inputs 5 to 8 use another, and this pattern continues across all eight groups.
The module can receive standard 24 V DC discrete signals from devices such as push-buttons, selector switches, proximity sensors, limit switches and relay contacts, provided their electrical characteristics suit the input specification.
Yes. The terminal-block status can be read as a byte value. Bit 0 indicates whether the terminal block is connected correctly or is absent.
