The Telemecanique VW3A5402 is a high-performance output sinus filter designed for use with Altivar variable speed drives. This filter is specifically engineered to enhance the performance and longevity of your motor by reducing the harmonic distortion and electrical noise generated by the drive. With a line rated current of 15A, it is compatible with a range of Altivar Process drives, including the ATV600 and ATV900 series. The VW3A5402 supports a maximum motor cable length of up to 1000 metres for unshielded cables and 500 metres for shielded cables, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications. It operates efficiently within a voltage range of 380 to 480V AC and can handle a maximum output frequency of 100 Hz. The filter is designed to operate at altitudes up to 4000 metres with appropriate current derating. Constructed to meet IP20 and IP21 protection standards (with an additional kit), the VW3A5402 is robust and reliable, capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions including biological, chemical, and dust pollution.
