The Siemens 1FK7103-2AF71-1RA2 is a SIMOTICS S-1FK7 compact synchronous servo motor designed for precise motion control in demanding industrial automation applications. Built with permanent-magnet technology, it provides high dynamic performance, efficient operation and accurate positioning for machinery requiring reliable speed and torque control. This motor has a rated speed of 3,000 rpm and a rated torque of 14 Nm, with a static torque of up to 36 Nm and a maximum torque of 108 Nm. It features natural cooling, an IP65 protection rating with IP67 protection at the drive-end flange, and a robust anthracite RAL 7016 housing suited to industrial environments. The unit is supplied without a holding brake and includes a feather key shaft end for secure mechanical coupling. For feedback and positioning, the 1FK7103-2AF71-1RA2 incorporates an AM20DQI absolute encoder with 20-bit resolution and 12-bit multiturn capability. Rotatable connectors for power and signal connections support flexible installation, while the integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor enables motor temperature monitoring within the drive system. With a net motor weight of 28.5 kg, shaft height of 100 mm and compact construction, this Siemens servo motor is well suited to machine tools, packaging equipment, handling systems and other precision automation machinery.
