The SICK 1093243, also designated TiM150-3010300, is a compact 2D LiDAR sensor designed for indoor object detection and field evaluation applications. Using SICK’s HDDM+ measurement principle and an 850 nm infrared Class 1 laser, it provides a 200° horizontal scanning angle, a 14.5 Hz scanning frequency and 1° angular resolution. Its working range extends from 0.05 m to 10 m, with a typical range of 2.8 m to 3 m for objects with 10% remission, depending on the scanning angle.

This sensor incorporates IO-Link connectivity, one digital input and two push-pull digital outputs for integration into industrial control systems. It operates from a 10–28 V DC supply, consumes typically 2.7 W and connects through a rotatable 5-pin M12 male connector. The IP65 enclosure measures 60 × 60 × 75.8 mm and weighs 122 g without connecting cables. Suitable for ambient temperatures from -10°C to +50°C, the SICK 1093243 offers configurable field monitoring in a durable, space-efficient housing.

What type of sensor is this device?

The SICK TiM150-3010300 is a compact 2D LiDAR sensor designed for indoor object detection and field evaluation applications.

What measurement technology does the sensor use?

It uses SICK HDDM+ measurement technology with an infrared light source operating at 850 nm.

What is the sensor's working range?

The specified working range is 0.05 m to 10 m. For objects with 10% remission, the typical scanning range is approximately 2.8 m to 3 m, depending on the scanning angle.

What area can the sensor scan?

The sensor provides a horizontal scanning angle of 200°, a scanning frequency of 14.5 Hz and an angular resolution of 1°.

What supply voltage is required?

SICK 1093243 operates from a 10 V DC to 28 V DC supply. When using the IO-Link output, the supply voltage must be greater than 18 V.

Which electrical connection does the device use?

The device has one rotatable, 5-pin M12 male connector. Compatible connection options include an M12-to-flying-lead cable and an M12 female-to-male sensor cable.

Which interfaces and outputs are provided?

The sensor provides IO-Link for auxiliary functions and parameterization, one digital input and two push-pull digital outputs. Two LEDs indicate power and switching status.

How quickly does the sensor respond?

The typical response time is 70 ms. Its configurable delay and dwell times range from 69 ms to 30,015 ms.

What are the dimensions and weight?

The unit measures approximately 60 mm × 60 mm × 75.8 mm and weighs 122 g without connection cables. Its housing colour is light blue, corresponding to RAL 5012.

What environmental conditions can the sensor withstand?

The sensor is rated IP65 and operates in ambient temperatures from -10°C to +50°C. Its storage temperature range is -30°C to +70°C, with permissible relative humidity up to 95% when non-condensing.

What detection accuracy can be expected?

Typical performance includes a systematic error of ±40 mm and a statistical error of 30 mm. Actual results can vary according to the target and surrounding environmental conditions.

What field evaluation capabilities are integrated?

The integrated field evaluation application supports one field set, one simultaneous evaluation case and two monitored fields. It can detect objects with a wide variety of shapes.

What mounting accessories are compatible?

Recommended mounting options include standard mounting kit 2082188 and Q-Lock mounting kit 2083311. The sensor also has M3 threaded mounting holes with a depth of 2.8 mm and a maximum tightening torque of 0.7 Nm.

Is the sensor intended for indoor or outdoor use?
