The Festo SEU-1/8 (SEU18) is a SEU Series quick exhaust valve designed to speed up pneumatic actuator movement by venting exhaust air directly at the valve, reducing back pressure and improving cycle times. This compact, screw-in valve features G1/8 pneumatic connections on ports 1 and 2 and includes an integrated silencer to help reduce exhaust noise. Built with a die-cast zinc housing and NBR seals, the SEU-1/8 is suitable for compressed air to ISO 8573-1:2010 class [7:4:4] and supports lubricated operation (note that if lubrication is used, continued lubricated operation is required). It operates over a pressure range of 0.5 to 10 bar and in ambient/media temperatures from -20 °C to +75 °C, with a nominal size of 5 mm. Typical standard nominal flow rates are up to 1000 l/min for exhaust (6 to 0 bar) and 300 l/min for pressurization (6 to 5 bar), with a sound pressure level of approximately 85 dB(A) and a product weight of about 65 g.
