The Festo DSN-20-80-PPV is a standard double-acting pneumatic cylinder designed for linear motion applications requiring controlled extension and retraction. Built to the ISO 6432 cylinder format, it features a 20 mm piston diameter and an 80 mm stroke, making it suitable for compact automation assemblies, positioning tasks and actuator-driven machine functions. This model includes adjustable pneumatic cushioning at both end positions, helping to reduce impact at the end of travel and support smoother operation. The single-ended piston rod is fitted with an M8 male thread, while the G1/8 pneumatic ports allow integration with compatible compressed air systems. It operates across a pressure range of 1 to 10 bar and can be mounted in any position, offering flexibility for varied machine layouts. Constructed with a corrosion-resistant high-alloy steel piston rod and cylinder barrel, aluminium alloy covers and NBR/TPE-U seals, the DSN-20-80-PPV is intended for use with compressed air in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4]. Its robust design, adjustable cushioning and compact ISO-based construction make it a practical choice for industrial pneumatic actuation where reliable, repeatable linear movement is required.
