My job often involves solving challenges that others can't. Recently, one of Europe’s leading distributors of industrial maintenance products and services was desperately looking for specific Omron cameras.
These essential components typically had lead times stretching beyond 16 weeks. They had repeatedly been let down by suppliers, with promised dates continually pushed back, leaving them frustrated and facing serious delays.
These Omron cameras were extremely scarce and practically impossible to locate quickly. The customers' extensive searches had yielded no results, putting them at risk of significant delays, potential operational disruptions and escalating costs. Even my tried and tested sourcing methods came up empty-handed, forcing me to get creative.

Through close collaboration and rapid communication, I was able to tap into previously inaccessible sources to secure the required parts and ensure we delivered the elusive cameras far quicker than the industry-standard lead time.
